Swinux will attend Orientation and Launch Week for Semester 1 of 2026!
Last week, the club announced that it would be attending launch week on the 25th and 27th of Feburary. Today, we are also confirming that we will be attending Launch week from the 2nd to the 4th of March.

This Year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) date is confirmed, and will be held this Thursday 16th of October 2025 @ 4pm. It will be held online via Discord, and elections will be conducted using Rubric.

We have just announced the first C++ Workshop for Semester 2 of 2025!
Taking place in Week 5, this workshop will focus on explaining the basics to novice to intermediate programmers. This workshop is hosted by the Swinux President, Dylan, who has industry experience with C++. Previous coding experience is recommended, although not neccessary to attend and learn more about programming. The workshop will conduct the following:

Your votes have enabled the club to extend into Semester 2 of 2025. The club has nominated the following club members to the committee:

The Special General Meeting (SGM) date is confirmed, and will be held this Friday 1st August 2025 @ 2pm. It will be held online via Discord, and elections will be conducted using Rubric.
The SGM will establish the Swinux (Linux Hardware & Code Club) committee for Semester 2 of 2025, giving the club the mandate to continue operations into 2026. Nominations for positions within the committee have closed. Elections will be held for the Vice President and Treasurer, with each candidate given time to give a statement before voting commences.
